Forever Living supporting Dot Com
Watch our latest event at the House of Commons. Lord Maclennan of Rogart hosted the special ‘thank you’ party in the Members Dining Room at the House of Commons to celebrate the success of the amazing Dot Com Challenge 1000 Fundraisers. The event was kindly sponsored by FOREVER LIVING and the Dot Com Charity is delighted to be the Forever charity of choice for another year.
Special thanks to the staff and children from Fairchildes Primary school in Croydon who made a wonderful speech at the event about the Dot Com programme and also to the teachers and children’s choir from St Mary’s Primary School in Twickenham who entertained the audience so beautifully. We are so grateful to the fashion designer Jody Bell and her cameraman Dean Shaw for attending and filming this wonderful occasion on Friday 16th December 2016.

For those of you who may not know, Forever Living Products is the largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of Aloe Vera products in the world. They were founded in 1978 and for over three decades, have dedicated themselves to seeking out nature’s best sources for health and beauty and sharing them with the world. They are passionate about helping everyone around the world look and feel better. Individuals who sell these products are known as Forever Business Owners (FBO) and there are currently over 10 million FBOs operating in over 150 countries around the world.
In June this year we were invited back on stage at the Birmingham Success Express Event and Sharon introduced some of the people who have already raised thousands of pounds for Dot Com via Challenge 1000.
This potential additional £500,000 is only possible because of the partnership with Forever.
We were fortunate enough to be featured in the August 2016 issue of the Forever magazine which you can read in full below. Many thanks to Forever editor, Kate Hodge, for including us.
The article includes:
- An interview with Sharon Evans explaining how Dot Com came about and the positive impact the fundraising that Forever Business Owners are having on the charity
- Highlights of the fundraising activities FBOs have already undertaken or are planning to do
- A piece on Myles – one of our Inspiring Children’s Awards winners – highlighting how the charity helped turn his life around.
Dot Com is actually a cartoon character; she’s a friend to children, and she is the friend that I would have liked to have when I was growing up. I thought that Dot Com, the character, could be their friend, someone that they feel able to talk to and share things with, no matter how big or small.
